Paph insigne sanderae
Found in the North-east corner of India at an altitude of 3000-4500 feet. Variable in color from browns to greens with the common spotting on the dorsal. Several varieties are described including:
var. sanderianum - bright canary yellow and white flowers
var. sanderae - green veins with purple specks on dorsal sepal
var. bonhoffianum - brownish dorsal with no specks or spots
Plant is generally easy to grow in culture, seems to like open well draining mixes.
