Miniature species from Cao Bang province of North Vietnam.  Not much known about this species to date.  It is aligned to Paph helenae and barbigerum but is unique is its red dorsal.  May be a stepping stone for hybridizing red minatures.

No unique color forms identified to date.  Growing medium is unknown but the plant is known to grow in limestone areas usually shaded.
