Discovered in back in 1895, this Paph is known for its large dorsal sepal. It has been used as a parent for its pink dorsal and to impart the size of the dorsal. The dorsal can be nice a flat as show above to recurving and hooded over the pouch. There is an alba form as shown below.
Plant is easy to grow in culture and likes a standard Paph mix.
